Frequently asked questions.
What support can you provide for a Certification Audit?
We can provide supports throughout all stages of a Certification Audit. This includes a pre-audit gap analysis, support to enact actions and monitor progress, coordination of the audit, and supporting in-person during the audit.
The Certification Audit support package can be adjusted to the organisation’s needs entirely.
Are you able to support with Commission compliance matters?
Yes - we can work with you to understand the scope of the request or notice from the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission (or other regulator), to investigate and gather information, identify corrective actions / continuous improvements, and assist in compiling a comprehensive response.
Are there Policy & Procedure suites and templates for purchase?
No, however there are some that can be found online for free, for example through National Disability Services.
Our approach focuses on helping organisations tailor Policies & Procedures to reflect actual practice, be useful and user-friendly. While this can include an update of templates, the focus is on the Policy & Procedure systems (how they are developed, reviewed, and implemented) and connection to practice.
Do you have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance?
Yes, I have a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, which can be provided as required.
Do you provide Specialist Behaviour Support Services?
No - we are not a Specialist Behaviour Support Provider. We work with Specialist Behaviour Support Providers, based on having a strong understanding of the clinical and regulatory requirements for behaviour support, and experience in building and developing behaviour support teams.
Can you conduct an independent investigation?
Potentially - depending on the circumstances of the incident and scope, we may be able to support running an investigation. While having experience in running investigations in the disability sector that involve participants (rather than solely worker matters), it can be complex to complete these effectively and efficiently from an external perspective. Evaluation on a case-by-case basis will be required.
